In the age-old struggle between the Yahoos and Houyhnhnms, bet on the Yahoos.

For once, I am at a loss for words even though I’m not quite surprised. The next four years will be interesting, to say the least.

Unassuming Scholar: I make my way as a college instructor in a charming little mountain community in the American West. The rest of the time I’m a writer, reader, researcher, daydreamer, film buff, keen observer of the mundane, a sometime flâneur and academic farceur.
